I am an artist from Lawton, Oklahoma that first began rapping by remixing popular songs on my own platform Major Christian Media. After doing that for a year, God lead me to start recording my own songs, which lead me to releasing my very first album “Greater Is He”. I am a follower of Christ, a husband, and a father. Those are the most important titles that I hold in my life and I use them to drive me. I hope to inspire and motivate those around me to be the best them that they can possibly be.

Jake grew up on Tupac, Nas, Eminem, Lil Wayne and some Rock.

He started rapping at 13  and gave his life to God, when he was 22, and since then he's changed up the music style and gives glory to God his my music.

From catchy, melodic hooks to groundbreaking dance moves, JVMAR RASHAD (Jamar Rashad) is steadily captivating fans one song/performance at a time. Born and raised in Lawton, OK, the artist found himself surrounded by music at an early age. From his father being a DJ and church sound technician to his mother’s involvement in the church choir, JVMVR was born to entertain.  JVMVR began to gain momentum after releasing his first single, “Notice Me”, onto Myspace in early 2010.  It wasn’t until March of 2017 however, that JVMVR embarked on his first project with his first EP, Empty House which introduced him to fans on all music platforms. While facing adversity, Empty House showcased JVMVR’S determination to make a name for himself, despite constantly seeking approval from his peers.  After overcoming some obstacles and receiving encouragement and positive feedback, JVMVR released his second project, Empty House 2 along with his first official music video,” iLike U” just months later. After gaining more momentum, JVMVR later released his second music video “Imagining” telling the story of a man fighting for his dreams while searching for a soulmate, showcasing his journey to achieve greatness. As he quietly works on his third project, JVMVR RASHAD is nothing short of a superstar in the making.
